1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this platform is the operator (private individual, Switzerland). Contact: support@match-and-roll.com
2. Data collected
We store the following data:
- Name and email address from the login provider (Discord, Google, Twitch)
- Profile picture (optional, from login provider or manually uploaded)
- Profile data: display name, city, travel radius, systems, description
- Contact methods (only visible after a match)
- Connection requests and matches between users
3. Purpose of processing
Data is used exclusively for operating the matchmaking platform. No data is shared with third parties, except with login providers (Discord, Google, Twitch) as part of authentication.
4. Storage location
Data is stored on servers in Switzerland. Backup copies are additionally stored at Scaleway in France (EU), which is subject to GDPR.
5. User rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Your profile can be paused or completely deleted at any time — all stored user data will be irrevocably removed. For requests: support@match-and-roll.com
6. Cookies & Sessions
We use only technically necessary cookies for authentication (session token). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
7. Applicable law
Swiss law applies, in particular the Data Protection Act (DSG). Since backup data is stored in the EU, GDPR requirements are also considered.
